Mississippi Medical Cannabis Card -  Qualifying Conditions

Southaven Medical Cannabis Card 

Use this guide to see if you qualify for a Mississippi medical cannabis card. Your medical cannabis card can be used anywhere in Mississippi including DeSoto County, Horn Lake, Olive Branch, and Southaven.

Documentation from a previous provider may be required to qualify for a medical cannabis card. Please call us at 662-470-6312 to see if your condition requires documentation from a previous provider. 

The following medical conditions or their treatment qualify for participation in the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program. 

• Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS)

• Alzheimer's disease

• Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

• Agitation of dementia

• Autism

• Cancer

• Cachexia or wasting syndrome

• Chronic pain

• Crohn's disease

• Diabetic/peripheral neuropathy

• Glaucoma

• Hepatitis

• Huntington's disease

• Muscular dystrophy

• Pain refractory to appropriate opioid management

• Parkinson's disease

• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

• Positive status for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)

• Seizures

• Severe or intractable nausea

• Severe and persistent muscle spasms including, but not limited to, those characteristic of multiple sclerosis

• Sickle-cell anemia

• Spastic quadriplegia

• Spinal cord disease or severe injury

• Ulcerative colitis

Please note only the above conditions qualify for a medical cannabis card near Southaven, Horn Lake, Olive Branch, Hernando, or Walls MS. Any health condition not explicitly listed will not qualify.
