Know before you go:

• You can get your Mississippi Medical card online only after seeing a provider in person. All follow up appointments may be online.

• You can use your medical card at any dispensary in Mississippi. This includes Southaven, Horn Lake, and Olive Branch.

• Individuals under 18 and individuals that are 18 - 25 have additional requirements. 

• The process typically takes 2-5 days from start to finish.

After Your Appointment (Standard Package only)

1. Your doctor will notify the state. We will notify you once the medical application is approved. This process takes 24 - 48 hours. Your medical application must be approved before you can submit your patient application. 

2. Visit https://ms-doh-public.nls.egov.com/login to create a patient profile. 

3. Make sure the information on your application matches the information you provided us. 

4. Be prepared to submit a photograph and pay a $25.00 application fee. 

5. You will receive your online medical marijuana card via email in a few days.

1. How do I get my MS medical card?

You will receive your medical marijuana card via email. The state will not send a physical copy. If you would like a physical copy of your digital card, we can print one for you.

2. Can I get a MS medical marijuana card online?

Sort of. Your initial visit must be in person, but you only need to be seen in person once. There is currently no way around this requirement. 

3. Do I ever have to come back in person?

No. Only your first appointment must be in person. All follow up and renewal appointments may be done virtually.

4. Do I have to follow up in 6 months? 

Yes. The state requires a 6 month follow up. 

5. Do I have to live in Southaven to schedule an appointment? 

No. We can certify anyone with a Mississippi state ID. We primarily serve the DeSoto County area including Olive Branch, Horn Lake, Hernando, and Walls. 

6. Can I transfer my medical marijuana card from another state?

You must be a Mississippi resident with a valid state ID to permanently transfer your card, but the state will allow you to receive a limited supply. Additional restrictions apply. 

7. I live in Tennessee currently. Can I get a MS medical card?

Proof of MS residency is required to get a Mississippi Medical Cannabis Card. If you can provide proof of MS residency, it does not matter where you physically reside. 

8. I want to switch doctors, how does that work?

You simply pick up where you left off with your last provider. A new in person visit is not required.
